A.S.B. creates a scavenger hunt for members of T.U.H.S.
A.S.B. decided to find a fun way to get, not only students of Taft High, but also teachers outside to take a break from distance learning. They created a scavenger hunt and a list of 10 clues that lead whoever participated to locations around our town. Once you found the designated location, you were instructed to take a photo of the poster and tag “Wildcat Wally” on Instagram. The scavenger hunt helped many students and teachers get a break from staring at a computer screen all day. Mr. Morris said, “From a teacher’s perspective, me and my family had a fun time with it; I enjoyed being able to talk with my students and talk to Mrs. Morris about locations.” Some of the clues were easier than others, but there were some harder ones. Annika Arnold said, “ One of the positive things for me was that I was able to get out of the house and not have to worry about assignments, and I got a chance to spend some time with my family.” The scavenger hunt was a huge success! It allowed several members of Taft High the chance to let go and just have fun for a day. A.S.B. has helped remind our community that we will continue to survive and thrive through this hard time.
