Spreading Holiday Cheer

The Advanced Choir singing songs while Aaron Mosley conducts the choir. Friends and families came out to support the musical Wildcats.

On Dec. 14, 2018, the Taft High choir held their Christmas concert at the First Baptist Church. The conductor was the Taft High choir teacher, Aaron Mosley, with Trish Wise as the accompanist. The concert started with the choir walking in and singing, “Cuncti simus concimentes,” while Xitlali Sanchez read a few words about the song. Mosley thanked and welcomed the families for coming to their Christmas concert. After his welcome speech, the intermediate choir sang, “What Child Is This,” by Arr. R.E. Schram then continued on to sing, “Carol of the Bells,” by Arr. M.L. Wilhousky. During the concert, we had 3 soloists. Marline Figueroa sang, “Noel,” by L.Daigle soon after we had our second soloist, Carson Morgan, who sang, “Thirty Days to Christmas,” by Never Shout Never. The Advanced choir followed up with, “Sing We Now of Christmas,” by Arr. M. Hayes and, “The Little Drummer Boy,” by R. Sterling. The final soloist, Kailee Gaylord, sang, “Where Are You Christmas,” by Horner/Jennings. Mosley said a few words before ending the concert with, “A la nanita nana,” by Arr. R. E. Schram. Many friends and family came out to support our fellow Wildcats during their Christmas concert.
