The first week of October was an eventful one with all the dress up days, the Homecoming football game, and the second rally of the school year. The A.S.B. and leadership students were the ones who did the decorating and set up the rally games for everyone’s enjoyment, such as the game with the toilet plungers, and all the other fun games that student volunteers played. The band also performed the opening songs with Raygan Wescott as the lead vocalist, singing the National Anthem. Many of the students loudly cheered for their classmates who participated in the games. The highlight of the rally, “…had to be singing and cheering with my friends when they played good songs.” said Breeanna Miller, a senior at Taft High. It’s safe to say that this rally was definitely a memorable one.
