Taft High welcomes Erin Landis
Erin Landis is a new teacher at Taft Union High. Landis is a collaborative teacher for seven different classes a day including Geometry, Algebra, English, and Biology. Before she came to Taft High, she taught at Bakersfield City School District and she has been subbing for three years and has been teaching for nine years. Erin’s favorite subjects in high school were English and art, which are also her favorite subjects to teach. Landis says she likes, “…the staff and the older campus.” Erin also likes how the students are, “…very supportive, nice, and how it’s a team atmosphere here at Taft High.” All the new teachers at Taft High have improved our school in one way or another, involving us in more teams and clubs with their support.
