Jim Uline plans for his next class.

It’s 2018, and a new school year has come. Taft High has many changes, including new teachers. The Gusher staff plans to introduce a new teacher every week.

This week, we are featuring Jim Uline. Uline is a 10th grade World History teacher. Uline has previously taught economics and government for 13 years at Birmingham High in the San Fernando Valley. After asking Uline a couple questions about the atmosphere at Taft High, he said, “The staff have been very friendly and welcoming and the students are very delightful.” Uline also says he loves to teach World History because he likes to influence students to get involved and make a change. According to Uline, all the new teachers at Taft High have been very happy to work with the staff and students.
