Taft High made a strong appearance in the Christmas parade on December 4th by displaying their “Sights and Sounds of Christmas”. Some of the CHP Explorer Program members walked beside a CHP car in the parade. The members were in their uniforms and seemed proud. Oil Tech participated in the parade with its members on a float. They looked very professional in their Oil Tech shirts. The electric car that was built over the summer by auto shop was driven by James Hooker in the parade. The Taft High Marching Band gave a sensational performance despite the parade being stopped in front of them.Taft High displayed its various programs to the community at this year’s Christmas parade with pride and big smiles.
