Canned food donation boxes available in the quad

As another year passes at Taft High, we find ourselves in the month of November–a time for food, family, and falling leaves. However, this month has something else in store for us as well. The canned food drive is an annual competition that takes place at TUHS, with all of the four classes competing for class points. Every year, the school pits the freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors against one another for this contest. Last year was a major success, and this year the classes hope to follow suit. The food items are preferred to be Thanksgiving themed and all donations go to a service club that puts together boxes for needy families. ASB leads this event, and students have even decorated the boxes placed in the center of the quad for the contest itself. The service provided by donating will bring happiness and food to a needy family, so they can celebrate this year too. Donate generously, as it helps your class win a large amount of points and helps others to have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
