Seniors: Goals, Careers, and Aspirations
Basketball enthusiast Erina Tuaila, who intends to become a physical therapist in the future, has a goal of staying on top of her school work and achieving straight A’s all year long. Erina’s favorite dance is Homecoming and she is most excited for Senior Sunset this year.
Zach Self, Varsity football player, plans on owning multiple extravagant houses and to have his dream career as a kinesiologist 10 years from now. Self, although he admits he is not the best dancer, is most excited for Prom this year and intends to attend with his girlfriend Lindsay Turner. As a senior, Zach is most looking forward to Powder Puff and is excited to participate.
New student here at Taft High, Sophia Holt, enjoys being a senior and says Taft High makes her feel welcome every day. During this school year, Holt wants to become more involved with Taft High activities and her school work. Holt’s favorite dance is Prom and, although she is often mistaken as a freshman, she is excited to get out on the field during Powder Puff. In 10 years, Sophia hopes to become a hair stylist due to the fact that getting ready in the morning brightens her day.
Water-Polo player Seth Taylor, who is also seen on KTHN and involved with the CHP Explorer Academy, says that enjoying high school is something his family advised him to do and that he fully intends on doing just that. Taylor wants to be able to hold a 4.0 GPA this year and, in the future, hopes to become a firefighter.
Zac Krieger enjoys most of his classes and is typically known as a sarcastic class clown. Krieger is most looking forward to Prom and Grad Night at Disneyland this year. Ten years from now, Zac wants to be a science teacher in Stirling, Scotland.
Junior Varsity Cheerleader Zayn Herrera, a senior also involved with the CHP Explorer Academy, plans on joining the Army after graduation and then continuing on afterwards to go into law enforcement. Herrera is excited to “dance all night long” at prom and to also take to the field for Powder Puff.
Another football player, Seth Talnenetz, is striving to be a successful future husband and father in the 10 years to come. After high school, Talnenetz wants to become a firefighter so he can save lives and be the type of person kids can look up to. Seth is back-up quarterback for the varsity football team and is hoping to be the best athlete he can be during his senior year.
Zain Harrak, another KTHN star, favors prom the most out of the school dances throughout the year. In ten years from now, Harrak not only hopes to be “thirty, flirty, and thriving,” but an actor as well due to his love for making people laugh and having a good time.
Seth Friedrichsen, senior involved with different after-school activities, including the CHP Explorer Academy and football, is another person who enjoys making everyone around him smile. Friedrichsen said that in ten years he hopes to be in the Army helping protect our country and to be successful in whatever job he decides to do for the military. During this school year, Friedrichsen’s goal is to become the best senior alive (good luck).
