Kickstart your knowledge with Taft College summer school paid for by TUHS
Great news everyone! This summer, students who would like to get a head start on their learning have the opportunity to do so (eligibility is required). Due to a grant for reopening schools, TUHSD will be paying for all students who would like to take advantage of this offer. What is paid for: classes, books, and fees. The eligibility requirements include: being on track to graduate high school and a current TUHSD student. Also, there must be room for students in selected classes.
Enrollment is open today, so contact your counselor if you are interested. June 7th through August 7th is the time the sessions will be spanning. The online classes that will be offered are: Art History, Algebra, Biology, Geography, Government, History, Management, Spanish, and Student Success. In-person classes available are as follows; Public Speaking, Acting, Study Skills, Pipe Welding, and Work Experience. If you would like to enroll, here is the registration link.
For help with the process and for questions, Tammy Sutherland is hosting a Registration Help Night.
