T.U.H.S phase 1 hybrid schedule Dec 14th to Dec 17th, 2020

This year’s finals (along with everything else) will be different than what the sophomores to the seniors are used to. For those of you who are freshman and are worried about what the tests are going to be like or how they are going to affect your grades, one piece of advice is to think about them like any other test your teachers have handed out: study for them and make sure everything that might be covered is on your mind.

Alright, that’s enough about worrying, this year’s schedule is going to be a little different than the regular Phase 1 Hybrid schedule. First of all, we will only have 4 days of finals and instead of Wednesday being 100% at home, we will have no school on Friday since that is the beginning of winter break (which I’m sure is much-needed for all). Finals will be held from Monday, December 14th until Thursday, December 17th. from 8:15 to 11:30 in the morning, and in the afternoon from 1 pm to 2:50, with a break for lunch and/or going home between 11:30 and 1:00.

Instead of going to our respective teachers’ zoom meetings in the afternoons, every teacher will have their zoom opened for any period of their class; this means, if a student usually has zero and 1st period on Monday but they need help with 2nd or 3rd-period finals that day, then they can go and get help without waiting for the next day to roll around. The mornings, which are usually Homeroom times for catching up on work in Canvas will be the time to do your finals whether you are one of the students who are in-person or at home.

Each teacher should have told or posted what finals will be worked on and when, whether or not they are a project, test, or anything in-between. If you do not know what you should be doing each day, please reach out to your teachers for clarification; they are there to help you be successful.
