Friday, September 27th, the Taft High Cross Country team attended the 47th Annual Douglas P. Rudolf Cross Country Invitational in Mooney Grove, California. The JV boys and girls ran the 5,000 meters, equivalent to 3.1 miles.

The JV boys had an impressive run with senior Antonio Guzman placing 8th, out of 96 JV boys across California with a time of 19:40.13 and senior Gustavo Ruiz not too far behind placing 21st with a time of 20:36.28.

Along with the JV boys, the JV girls also had an impressive run with freshman Asucena Santillan running a great race with a time of 28:31.86 and fellow freshman, Daisy Mora, not too far behind Santillan with a time of 29:56.79 placing 46th out of 79 JV girls across California.
