Taft Baseball off to a great start
2020 Baseball Season-
Boys Varsity Baseball:
So far this season, the Boys Varsity Baseball team has done pretty well; they took 1st place in this year’s Terrio Tournament. Sadly, on the downside, they have lost their last two games to Central Valley Christian and Garces. They will also be getting Senior Starting Pitcher (SP) Corbin Yaws back, who has been suspended two games, which could help them in the rest of the season. Below are all of the scores for the varsity boys team and how they well they have played so far this season.

Games 1-5 were a part of the 2020 Terrio Tournament, in which the J.V. Boys took 2nd place. They lost to Wasco by a final of 2-1. This game was a well-pitched game in which both of the starting pitchers pitched the full seven innings. Following a tough blow from a loss at the hands of Garces Memorial, they look to get back on stride when they face Fowler in a road, non-conference game on 3/13/2020 (update: this game was cancelled due to all out-of-county travel being suspended on 3/12).
Boys Frosh-Soph Baseball:
In the only scoreline that was provided for the freshmen baseball team that was a game that was against Arvin. They did win that game and they beat them by a final score of 3-2 in a very close game.
