The Taft varsity baseball team won Monday’s game against Chavez (Delano, CA) by a score of 3-0. Jackson Van Roekel threw a CG, Van Roekel was the first score of the game in the fourth inning, following Skyler Self. In the fifth inning, Corbin Yaws was the third run, the rest of our ‘Cats worked hard on the field. Our Wildcats are 16-1 overall and 7-0 in SSL. They are going to Shafter to play against the Generals tomorrow at 4 p.m.
