Varsity boys baseball remains undefeated

During the varsity baseball team’s home victory against Ridgeview, Chad Berry steps up to bat to help contribute to their victory.

On Fri., March 8, Taft Union High School’s baseball teams faced off in a home match up against Ridgeview. The JV team had a rough day where they lost to the Wolf Pack 16-1 with John Bernard being the only run with Kristopher Downey getting an RBI.

Varsity baseball, on the other hand, played a well-fought game until the very end. They scored 2 runs in the 3rd inning , 1 in the 6th, and 1 in the 7th to win the game with a final score of 4-3. Skyler Self led the team in hits with a total of 3. Jackson Van Roekel hit a home run to help contribute to his team’s home win.

The varsity baseball team currently has an undefeated record of 8-0.
