The new arrangement of the cafeteria has sprung some concerns for the students of Taft High. Due to the lack of cafeteria staff, they moved both lunch lines into the usual hot lunch line. Now the fast food line is in cafeteria along with the hot lunch line, and the parfait line is still in its usual spot. The once fast food line is now the staff lunch line.

It becomes problematic when there are so many students going into the cafeteria to get food, making it hard for students who just want to sit at cafeteria tables. The lines are so backed up that they even block the entrance into the cafeteria. “Every time I go into the cafeteria to sit at a table, I always get pushed. It is way too crowded in there. They definitely need to bring the fast food lines back,” stated Taft High Senior Hannah Cox. Hopefully, the school is able to reopen the old fast food lines in order to resolve these issues.
