Blue team members Grace Armstrong and Kloie Malone looking ready to play. Their team ended up winning the game.

This years’ Powderpuff game was as competitive as it can get with the blue squad trying to keep the winning tradition going against the gold squad. They did just that by securing a 13-7 win against the gold squad. Blue took the lead early with Rylea Summit scoring a touchdown midway through the first quarter. This would be followed up with another touchdown by Summit in the last minutes of the first half. Millie Reynoso successfully got the extra point after this second touchdown and made the score 13-0 right before the Homecoming crowning.

This years’ court was made up of Nick Vargas, Tucker Banner, Jordan Miranda, Bryson Gin, and the winner, Jackson Van Roekel. Jackson is the starting quarterback on the football team and three other members of the court are also on the varsity football team, so you can only imagine how happy they were for him.

Once the game started up again, Diana Huizar scored the one and only touchdown for the Gold team of the night. Huizar also made the extra point to make up the final score of Blue 13, Gold 6.
