Taft Union High Schools boys’ basketball team was eager to start their season off on Tuesday, November 27th at 6:30pm versus East. From Nov. 29 to Dec. 1 they competed in the Mira Monte Tournament before league games start. The home games for the Wildcats will be on Dec. 4 against Shafter, Dec. 11 against McFarland, Jan. 15 against Arvin, Jan. 17 against RFK, Jan. 31 against Chavez, and Feb. 4 against Wasco. Their number-one goal this upcoming season is to make a run for valley, which they feel is very possible this year with returning starters: Dylan Self,  Tyler Terrell, and Blake Smith.
