The season is not over for the TUHS golf team!  After going undefeated in league this season, the Wildcat Golf Team continues to play in the post-season with Macayla Wells qualifying for the CIF Central Section Individual Championship (Valley Championship) at River Island near Porterville on Monday, October 29th.  This is the third consecutive year that a Wildcat Golfer has made it to the Valley Championship.

Wells qualified for the match on October 22nd at North Kern by shooting a solid 90, earning her spot as one of the seven individuals to qualify in addition to teams from Frontier, Stockdale, and Liberty.  She missed a spot in the top 10 medalists for the day by just four strokes, but easily beat the qualifying score of 95 to make it to the next level of post-season play.

Natural ability, focused practice, dedication and a great attitude are paying off for Macayla.  She’s a phenomenal athlete and a pleasure to work with, always willing to listen to instruction and striving to do her best on the golf course and in the classroom.
