The top six girls gather for a picture after their match at North Kern. The team placed first and plan to take league down the road.

The girls played their third SSL match of the season at North Kern Golf Course on Sept. 13 and won yet again. Sophomore Macayla Wells led the team very well with a score of 44. She birdied a par five, meaning it took her four strokes to make it in the hole, which is very impressive. This is Wells’s second year of golf, and she improves her game every day. Junior, Briley Wheeler was the most improved golfer on the course, with a score of 54 in her first league game. So far, it looks like the Wildcats will hold their first place title.
