The Taft High freshman volleyball team went on an impressive three-game winning streak against teams from Kennedy, West, and Shafter. Each game was followed with another game the previous day, and the Lady ‘Cats took home the victory quite convincingly by not allowing the opposite teams win a set over them. The Lady ‘Cats had some very impressive set scores against their opponents, such as their 25-9 and 25-13 set wins over West on Sept. 5. They would win the next game the following day with sets just as impressively. They won in two sets with the scores being 25-17 and 25-14 against Shafter.
