The boys golf team played 18 holes at North Kern on April 19. The weather wasn’t the best due to high winds that made it extremely hard to get the ball to go in a straight line. It affected the players quite a bit, but didn’t stop them from trying their best. While at the match, two players were caught cheating by several people, one from Kennedy and one was from Wasco. After analyzing the situation, the coaches decided to disqualify both players from the tournament. With the scores in, the coaches determined that Taft came in 2nd with team score of 479, and BCHS came in first with a team score of 407. After the match, the boys got to eat at Sonic and gained more experience for their last match of the season.
