Last week, the Lady Wildcats headed to Delano on Feb. 7th to go up against Kennedy High. This game was interesting and highly anticipated for the varsity team. The last time they played at Kennedy, they beat the team by 5 points, however, this game was different.

Throughout the entire game, both teams had 0 points, up until the very last minute. “Everyone had really good defense, so it made it difficult for both teams.” remarked Jonelle Rouell from the varsity team. “3 different people attempted to score, but it was kicked back each time, until we finally got one in and won.” So, the varsity team has won twice against Kennedy. The J.V. team also did a fantastic job, winning 4-0 against Kennedy High. All in all, it was a good  week for the Wildcats.
