Girls’ Basketball Wins Again

Taft girls’ basketball played efficiently on December 12, 2017 against South High. The freshman team was tied with South in the 1st quarter, but by the 2nd quarter the opposing team had 2 more points ahead of Taft. They lost with a 15-19. The JV team started with a strong score of 25 to 6, and kept their scorer strong throughout the game. They ended with a score of 50-16, defeating South. Varsity was ahead of South throughout every quarter, and finished with a score of 58-15, also defeating South. “With two wins and only one loss in this game, they did really good,” stated Anahi Penaloza, who was a student attending the game.
