Garden Club’s Second Annual Plant Sale happens this Thursday
Garden Club is getting ready to have a plant sale this week, Thursday May 9, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. at the school farm (located at the back of the Buena Vista High School parking lot). Many faithful members have dedicated time after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays almost every week so this plant sale could be possible. Although there are not as many plants as there were last year, there is definitely more variety this year.
Garden Club had to slow down on the planting because the greenhouse fans were suspiciously getting turned off, but eventually their good friends, the MOT Department, helped fix the problem, so they’re back up and running. This year, they have a variety of tomatoes, flowers, kale, cucumbers, peppers, basil, squash, and eggplant. If you are wanting to join Garden Club or just want to know what they’re up to, follow them on Instagram @tuhsgardenclub.
