In Taft High’s Robotic class, students can learn how to build and program robots. The class is taught by Mr. Taylor who hopes that his students will successfully be able to design and create a robot of their own using their math and science skills. The class had a productive event with the Special Education class on the Taft High campus. The students were ecstatic to be able to play with the recently built robots. They had fun playing soccer as well and moving things around the room. The robots themselves are run on many programs, but there is one specifically called “RobotC”  that connects to the brain of the robot that the students are currently learning. If you are planning to get into the new robotics class, there is one concept you are required to learn: Taylor says, “What you want the robot do and what you tell it to do are two very different things.” He says you can be successful and prosperous in his class when you can comprehend just what he means by his class’s quote.
