There is a blood drive on Friday, March 6, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the TUHS mirror room. You have to be at least 16, over 110 pounds, and also not have a cold, flu, cold sores, and any sign of infection. Also, donors cannot have a recent tattoo for the previous two weeks. If you are eligible under those circumstances, then you need to have the “Parental Consent for Minor Donors,”  and “High School Activity Parental Notification Form,” signed and given to your teacher by March 3rd. Then you will receive an appointment card to donate blood on or before March 5th. Mrs. Popejoy said,”The best outcome, or largest amount of blood we have donated in a single day is 60 pints!”
