Blood, Gore, and giving more.

Get those hearts pumping and those bodies moving because the blood drive is here! Blood (if you didn’t know) is very important for living and for keeping you from being a Halloween decoration. Now don’t just start giving people your blood because, if any students want to donate blood, they need to check off some things. To donate, students must be 16 years or older, sign the required forms, have no infection or sickness, and couldn’t have had any tattoos in the last two weeks. If everything is set and done, students can donate up to a pint of blood. For those under 17, you might have to sign a little more, but it’s no reason not to donate. If anyone does the above, they’ll get an appointment card on or before October 30th. Everyone donating needs to bring their ID and eat a big meal before they give their blood. And remember, if you have to choose between giving your blood to a great cause, and a vampire, the cause doesn’t bite you.
