Wildcats played at Kern River Golf Course for the first time this season on Sept. 27. The golf line up was a little different from usual because some of the top players were unable participate. The girls who took their places were Chloe Dodson, Aylinne Narvaez, and Chloe Speer. The team was a little skeptical on whether they would win or not because some of the top players weren’t there, which was very important. Since most schools play from the markers instead of the lady tees, Cowan let Dodson, Narvaez, and Speer play from the marker because of their inexperience. All of the girls did very well, despite not having their usual players, and took first place.
