Some upcoming and past events that involve Taft High show how we have a lot of ways for students to be involved. Students are also being rewarded for their outstanding achievements.

Upcoming events include A.S.B. elections (turn in candidate forms) and Cougar Day for seniors attending Taft College next year.

AVID students held a car wash and were able to donate over $1,200 to the Kelsey Meadows Memorial Scholarship fund.

S-Club member Millie Reynoso received the Violet Richardson Award by Soroptimist International of Taft. She will be recognized on April 10th at the lunch meeting at Jo’s Restaurant.

A.S.B. elections are coming up for next year. Those interested in running for an A.S.B. office will need to pick up an “intent to run” form from Mrs. Conners.  These forms will be due April 13th. You are welcome to grab a form anytime throughout the school day.

Cougar day will be April 24th this year. It will be at Taft College from 9am-2pm. All seniors that have completed an application and orientation are invited to attend.
