As a part of TUHSD’s efforts to foster appropriate use of cell phones and technology, they are following through with the parent education and support initiative. The district created a Parent Academy.

Parent Academy is being presented by TUHSD in collaboration with CTEC and the West Kern Adult Education Network. Parents will begin with the technology session, and then parents will choose a CTEC breakout session.

Healthy Eating presented by Carlos Chavira

Thursday, March 1st will be a Spanish session and Thursday, March 8th will be the English session. Dinner and childcare will be provided. The academy will be located at the IRC (located behind the cafeteria) and will be taking place between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.
