The last touchdown at Taft High for Eric Gonzales
Eric Gonzales has accomplished so much in his short stay at Taft Union High School. Getting his start in 2015, Mr. Gonzales has been a history teacher and football coach and hopes to keep doing so during the rest of his career. While at Taft High, Gonzales has formed a good relationship with the superintendent Dr. Blanca Cavazos and with his assistant coach, George “Coach G” Falgout, saying, “I will miss them dearly.” Gonzales has also made “too many memorable moments to list.” He has stated that he, “will miss the small town community environment…and the relationships with students and staff.” Gonzales would also like to thank the students for, “helping me advance my skills and abilities as a teacher and coach.” Taft High has had an impact on his personal life as well, “Working here has exposed my way of life that I did not have any experiences with.” Gonzales concluded with, “Taft high is a great place and I hope that the student body can get more involved, spirited, and enjoy their time here.”
