I am Mariah Nevarez, and I have been a part of Journalism since my junior year. I fell in love with the rush of working on a newspaper and am absolutely grateful that Dr. White is such an amazing teacher. I have learned a lot from being on the staff. I learned to love writing and now it is a passion of mine. I am honored to be the Editor-in-Chief of The Gusher. It is my favorite class, and I wish it would have been offered to me earlier. I plan to keep writing after my senior year, and I will definitely take all that I have learned and will learn with me to college. Journalism has taught me how to manage my time. I am involved in a lot at the school, but the best part is being a part of Journalism.
