Lady’Cats raising the intensity in their last week of volleyball 2018. Everyone on the team got together for some team bonding before their game.

Taft High School JV girls’ volleyball team were defeated against Arvin in their last game of the season on Oct. 18. In pregame warmups, the tension was high due to the last match with Arvin beating them at home the last time.

The Wildcats and Bears faced off with one another. The first set started off great with the Lady ‘Cats playing with a high intensity but, after Arvin’s girls going on a streak, the momentum changed for Taft. At the end of the first set, Arvin won  25-15. The second set ended in almost the exact same way with our JV girls losing 25-16. The last game was fought hard by our Lady ‘Cats, but they continue to keep their heads high hoping to strike back against Arvin next year.
